🎶Gigs: Yard Act is at Brighton Dome tonight touring their latest album Where's My Utopia? (tickets); Yonaka will be at Chalk on Wednesday, fusing pop, punk, and hip-hop into an alt-rock hybrid (tickets).

🎬Film: Paddington will be in concert with a live orchestra this Sunday at the Brighton Centre. Accompanied by the London Concert Orchestra, enjoy the beloved story of a marmalade-loving small bear from deepest darkest Peru as he arrives at Paddington Station and please: look after this bear (tickets).

🎨Painting: The Paint Club will be at Lewes Road Inn this Thursday, with all the materials you need to paint a beautiful herd of highland cows (tickets).

🛍️Market: BOM: Makers Market returns to The Open Market on Saturday, with stalls selling handmade art, gifts, crafts, treats, homewares and clothes from 10am to 5pm.

🐣Easter Egg Hunt: Friends of St Ann's Well Gardens are hosting an easter egg hunt around the park! Arrive between 11am and 1pm, start near the cafe.

🎟️Quiz: West Hill Community Quiz is this Tuesday, at West Hill Hall. Open to all comers, this Quiz does not take itself very seriously, although it is seriously good fun. The Quiz Setter even gives the participants clues! Doors open at 7:15pm, quiz starts 8pm. Entry is £1 and a donated raffle prize for the table.

🌷Spring Foraging Walk: Experienced wild food guide and cook, Mike Cutting, will be holding a springtime foraging and plant ID walk in Stanmer Park this Sunday. On the walk you'll encounter, examine, taste and smell many species of edible and medicinal plants, trees and (potentially) fungi that make this place home. You will also meet poisonous or otherwise toxic plants to be avoided or handled with caution, which are just as important to be aware of as their delicious or otherwise useful relatives. Following the ID walk you will have the chance to try a variety of tasters prepared using wild foods combined with common ingredients (tickets).

🍱Food: Co-founder Adam Englebright went to Meat Bread Wine, despite being a teetotal vegan:

I had a sandwich from Meat Bread Wine, which used to be Isaac At. It was really nice. Had nice bread, nice fillings, I can't remember what it's called, all the sandwiches there have names. It was the vegan version of something. Whatever it was, it was really tasty. It was the vegan Rachel.

The banana latte? What do you want me to say? It's one of those things that sounds weird but very enticing, and you want to say that it doesn't work, but it really does, like genuinely really does. It's very yummy. It's like if you've ever had a foamy banana, it's like someone's liquidised some foamy bananas and put them in a coffee.
