🩵Joining The Flock: Forgive us for our self-promo, but we'd highly recommend joining The Flock and supporting Team Seagull, if you can. We're so grateful for the support we've had already—we want to be able to spend more time on our work, pay our contributors more and invest in the future of independent local news, which is why we're asking for your help. The Flock gives you the opportunity to support us directly, for £5, £10 or £15 a month—this allows you to support in the manner that best fits your means. The Seagull will remain free—though members of the Flock will gain the exclusive ability to comment on articles—and there will be more exciting things for the membership programme coming soon!

You can apply for this programme if you are aged between 18-27, are based in Brighton & Hove, and meet their eligibility criteria (this is in place so they can make sure they help young people who are most in need, and that they can work on their mission of making the creative industries more socio-economically diverse).
